Wordly Confessions

This post is inspired by my dear cousin Chelsea. I hate to admit it, but Brandon and I are the wordly ones of the family. WE {love} Vegas. Went there on our honeymoon and can't wait to go back. We loved the shopping, the Fall weather, the shows, but most of all the FOOD. We gained 5 pounds in our first 24 hours of marriage, and the numbers keep on getting bigger. One buffet after another. Ate six plates of crab legs saturated in butter and enjoyed every bite. There was much to enjoy for a party of two. Now, a place for family fun? Not exactly. Not my first choice...or hundredth. But for now, Vegas holds a place in our heart. A place set aside for sporadic get-a-ways, filled with romance and adventure.

I have to agree with Chelsea on this one dear Gina....but hey, different strokes for different folks, right?

I love this post!! Jason and I are the biggest fans of Vegas!!! We went there for our honeymoon too. And with a family its pretty fun if you know exactly what to do. Jason and I take cadence to Circus Circus and she loves to play all the games and see the circus show they put on. Vegas will always have a place in our hearts too. We should go together sometime!!!

@Aunt Sandi: That was a nice way of putting it. The "different strokes for different folks part" made me laugh.

@Danialle: I haven't been to Circus Circus...yet! We would love to go with you guys. We were thinking about going back in Oct. to celebrate our one year mark, but haven't finalized plans. Would you guys be able to go the end of October ish?

What days in October? Cause I will probably be in Utah around that time. I am throwing my sister a baby shower and than her due date is Nov. 1st, so I am pretty much going to be up there from Oct. 22-Nov. 4. This sucks I would love to got to Vegas with you guys. I always have too much going on. If you decide to go earlier than that we would love to come. Keep me posted.

haha, Gina I still claim you one hundred times and you are in no way worldly! Yeah Vegas is fun, but not while pushing a baby around in the stroller, trying to get around nap times and bed times. We couldn't go to shows because Ryah would never sit still and it would be way past her bed time. so it just wasn't our place to be i guess. but we met some pretty crazy people and thats always fun!

Gina my love! I just love your blog. You are so clever. Anyway if you do come to Vegas, let me know! We live just a few mins outside Vegas in Henderson and it is actually a nice LDS residential area. We only make it down to the Strip on occasion for date-nights or whatever so its perfect. Anyway i miss you girl, hope all is wonderful!!
Oh PS, Circus circus is one of our favorites too cuz its very family friendly and we like to watch the free circus acts!

@Danielle: Shoot! That is just the time we were planning. But if it makes you feel any better, it's still not a for sure deal bc Brandon are awful at decision making. Hmmm. I should write a post about that. Anyway, we will definitely let cha know the next time we go. Have fun in Utah!

@Chelsea: I was really worried for a while. For two days straight, I stayed up at night wondering. During the day I picked the petals off hundreds of flowers asking, "She claims me? She claims me not?" Over and over. Alfalfa style. So glad to hear the great news! And yeah, I don't think Vegas would be much fun in those circumstances either!

@Kendra: We're doing great! Glad to hear from you! Btw, Ruthie is adorable, but I am sure you are well aware! Hope things are well!

@Hill: Now that's a great idea. We would love to see you guys! Congrats on the baby! I bet you are counting down the days. I'm so excited for you!

Remember you always have a free place to stay when ever you want to come to Vegas. It probably doesn't have the romance aspect to it though. Would be good to see you if you do come this way.
